This recipe is probably one of the top five most requested dinner ideas in my house. I always like to ask everyone for their ideas for my monthly meal plans and this one is always on everyone’s list!

What I love most about this dip is how easy it is to adjust the spice level to suit everyone’s tastes. My husband likes it spicy, while some of my daughters prefer a milder version. I usually make a big batch, set aside a portion for those who prefer it mild, and then kick up the heat in the rest for the spice lovers.

Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Items You’ll Need

  • Baking Dish
  • Spoon
  • knife or something to shred or cut up chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (use leftover roasted chicken or cooked chicken breast or thighs)
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups ranch dressing (homemade ranch adds a special touch!)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste for spice levels)
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven to 350°F (177°C).
  1. In a baking dish, add cream cheese, ranch, chicken and buffalo sauce in baking dish. (If chicken is still hot, I usually wait and add it when I add cheese.
  1. Bake at 350 until cream cheese is melted.
  1. Fold in cheddar cheese and chicken if necessary.
  1. Place back in the oven until cheese if melted.

Serving Suggestions

Buffalo Chicken Dip pairs great with a variety of dippers. Arrange a platter with:

  • Celery and carrot sticks for a crunchy, healthy option
  • Tortilla chips or crackers for something salty and sturdy
